Calgary, Alberta – Apex Optics is proud to announce the return of the Precision Rifle Series (PRS) to Canada with its flagship match, the Apex Rocky Mountain Challenge. Scheduled to take place July 13-14, 2024, in Alberta’s picturesque Rocky Mountains, this highly anticipated event will be a PRS PRO Series qualifier and provide Canadian competitors the chance to earn points towards qualification for the 2026 International Precision Rifle Federation (IPRF) World Championships.

The Apex Rocky Mountain Challenge will feature challenging stages, inspired by real-world shooting scenarios, designed to test precision, endurance, and adaptability. The match is expected to draw top talent from across Canada and beyond, making it a key event on the PRS calendar.

Beyond the competition, the Apex Rocky Mountain Challenge is set to be an unforgettable experience for the entire family. The match is perfectly timed to coincide with the world-famous Calgary Stampede, taking place just a short drive from the match location. Families can enjoy the thrill of the rodeo, live music, and midway attractions at the Stampede, as well as explore the stunning natural beauty of Alberta’s Rocky Mountains.
