The Apex Hunter 3-15×44 Non-Illuminated Reticle Version is the same great Hunter riflescope, but with a slightly slimmer profile, coming in approximately 30g lighter.
It represents the pinnacle of hunting riflescope design tailored for precision rifle shooters. Every aspect of this optic is meticulously balanced to achieve the perfect blend of usability, weight, durability, light transmission, and image clarity. Enhanced by the exclusive HLR™ (Hunter Long Range) reticle, it forms a lethal and precise combination suitable for both short-range and long-range hunting pursuits. Available in both Illuminated and Non-Illuminated variants, it caters to the diverse needs of hunters across all disciplines.
Like all of our riflescopes, the Hunter riflescope is assembled in our Japanese factory and is packed with precision components and the highest quality Extra Low Dispersion (ED) glass with our proprietary HTX™ 7-Layer lens coating technology, delivering optimal light transmission, durability, and glare reduction.
True to our commitment to excellence, the Hunter 3-15×44 is equipped with premium components such as stainless-steel internals, a 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum body with TYPE III hard anodization, an integrated and removable throw lever within our signature oversized zoom ring design. The Hunter sets a new standard for high-end hunting riflescopes with its array of premium features, including an included fast-focus eyepiece, a spacious eye box, and generous eye relief.

When it came time to design the most important aspect of this riflescope we knew that we had to get it right.
We turned to some of the most experienced hunters and guides that we knew to ask them what was important in a long range hunting reticle.
We took that feedback, as well as the smashing success from the CLR™ competition reticle, and created what we feel is a fantastic all around hunting and long range shooting reticle, that is useful at 3X all the way through to 15X magnification.
The incredible input from these experienced shooters, along with our internal team’s exhaustive research and development has resulted in the Apex Hunter Long Range™ (HLR) Reticle, exclusively available in our flagship Apex Hunter precision riflescope.
It’s available in Illuminated (red) and Non-Illuminated versions, giving you ultimate flexibility in choice. The Non-Illuminated version of the scope is lighter and has a slightly slimmer overall profile, so the tradeoff in Illumination vs. weight is something that the we leave for each hunter to decide for themselves and their particular use-case.

We start off with a solid block of 6061-T6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum billet and mill it down to a perfectly concentric 30mm tube.
We then soak it in a proprietary solution so that it exceeds MilSpec Type III Hardness and Abrasion Resistance standards. That’s how it gets that signature matte-black finish.
Our erector system is built with stainless steel components for a positive and distinctive “click”, guaranteeing repeatability and durability for the life of the product. No matter what the M.D. or the elements throw your way, you’ll be confident your riflescope will be up to the task without skipping a beat or getting off-zero.
The optical components are made using the highest quality Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) Japanese glass, which are ground down and polished with state-of-the-art equipment. The optical system uses a set of finely tuned APO (apochromatic) lenses, and when combined with the Prime ED glass provides an unmatched clarity of image, depth of field, and field of view. Every lens is meticulously inspected by our production engineers before it goes into one of our scopes.
Finally, the entire system is inspected once-again, then assembled by hand in a Certified Clean Environment. The final step of the assembly is dry-Argon purging and sealing, ensuring that the entire optical system is shockproof, fogproof, and IP67-rated dustproof and waterproof.

All of our products carry a Lifetime Warranty. We’ll replace any product if it’s not up to our standards of quality and durability, no questions asked. If something stopped working as it should, then let us know and we’ll take care of it at no cost to you.
The only things we don’t cover are “Acts of God” like fire, lighting strikes and flooding. Most of those scenarios are typically covered by your insurance. We also don’t cover theft or intentional/neglectful damage or destruction.

Exceptional Hunting Scope
You’d be hard-pressed to find a better long range hunting scope, even paying significantly more. The scope excels at all the important elements of hunting in any light at any range. A very wide field of view, extremely good light transmission, a very well thought out illuminated reticle, great ballistic turrets with an audible “click” and zero-stop and a forgiving eye box make it easy to quickly find your game in the reticle in any light and adjust for distance and wind (if required). The glass is extremely clear, even at full zoom. The build quality is exceptional and the scope feels very durable. The scope isn’t perfect in every way, but the only small flaws I could come up with aren’t relevant for real hunting applications and mentioning them here would just be a distraction.
