WHAT IS COVERED?
At Apex Optics, we build products to perform in demanding conditions and to last for years of serious use. We stand behind the quality, craftsmanship, and durability of every optic we produce.
Lifetime Optical Warranty
All Apex Optics optical and mechanical components are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product.
If your optic fails due to a manufacturing or mechanical defect under normal use, we will repair or replace it at our discretion at no charge.
Electronic Component Coverage
Electronic components, including but not limited to laser rangefinders, displays, circuit boards, control modules, Bluetooth components, and integrated electronics, are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the original date of purchase.
Electronic coverage applies to normal use only and does not extend beyond the three-year period.
What Is Not Covered
Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Accidental impact or dropping
- Tip-over from tripods, mounts, vehicles, or unstable surfaces
- Crushing or external force
- Improper mounting or installation
- Misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Unauthorized disassembly or modification
- Firmware tampering
- Improper battery installation
- Water intrusion resulting from impact or damage
- Theft or loss
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect performance
- Fire, flood, lightning, or other natural disasters
Damage caused by external force or impact is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Accessories
Factory accessories including lens covers, flip covers, throw levers, plugs, mounts, straps, and similar components are not covered under the lifetime warranty but may be replaced at a nominal cost.
Warranty Transfer
This warranty applies to the original retail purchaser. The lifetime optical warranty may be transferred one time to a subsequent owner, provided the transfer is registered with Apex Optics within thirty (30) days of the change in ownership and includes proof of the original retail purchase.
Warranty coverage continues from the original date of purchase and does not reset or extend due to transfer.
Electronic component coverage applies only to the original retail purchaser and is not transferable.
Our Commitment
We reserve the right to inspect all products submitted for warranty evaluation and to determine eligibility for coverage. Covered products will be repaired or replaced with the same model or an equivalent model at our discretion.
For issues that fall outside of warranty coverage, we will, whenever possible, offer reasonable repair or replacement options at a service fee. Our goal is always to provide a fair and practical solution while protecting the long-term integrity of our products and brand.
